Recently Maureen delivered a talk to the Year Twelve cohort at St Aloysius’ College, Milsons Point.
The nature and content of the talk covered essential areas that assist in improving student performance in the Higher School Certificate. Importantly there were valuable lessons for coping and dealing with adversity that goes beyond a classroom and examination situation.
Maureen’s confident and engaging style was appropriate for boys of this age. At the conclusion of the presentation, many students commented that they could apply, in practice, some of the skills and coping mechanisms necessary for the challenges of their Higher School Certificate year.
This is testament to Maureen’s passion and commitment in what is a vital stage in the life of a teenager.
